I worked with the World Health Organization to create their social media campaign social media tiles for World Diabetes Day 2024. World Diabetes Day is the world’s largest diabetes awareness campaign reaching a global audience of over 1 billion people in more than 160 countries.

The Lancet also published new data: “Over 800 million adults are now living with diabetes worldwide with more than half not receiving treatment, global analysis suggests.”

I created this infographic to visualise the data - by showing the diversity of people living with diabetes shown in the graph, and using colors to differentiate between low-and-middle-income countries and high-income countries.

The graph was shared by the WHO Health and Science Channel on Instagram, Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, and the WHO Social Media Accounts.
