Money Mentalist are money mentors; they help you get control over your finances. They believe that psychology has a big part to play in understanding your relationship with money. Money Mentalist had actually engaged Portmanteau’s services a few years ago to do their logo, and we were delighted to re-establish our working relationship to further progress their brand and website. We started the process with mood boards and understanding what brand experience they wanted to create with visual elements, such as the photography and typography. We produced an updated style guide, with refreshed brand colours and added more typography options to achieve inspiration, and warmth and personality for when they use quotes.
To begin the process of designing their website we worked through the customer journey, using a site-map to work out what macro and micro conversions were to be achieved, and the general UI and navigation of the website. We also provided an evaluation of the user profile to understand how to engage their users. Once we were happy that we understood what they wanted to achieve, we went onto the wireframes. Once the wireframes were approved by the client, we started the building of the website.
